I really, really, think that the focus of your indignation and your outrage should be on people who go out to join groups that throw gays off cliffs, that behead people who, don't subscribe to their version of Islam, that glorify in the execution of innocent journalists and aid workers. They should be the object of your wrath, not the security services who are trying to keep us safe.

Of course, the holy British state has never knowingly killed anyone, straight or gay.
You are scraping the barrel here. The last state killing of gay people for being gay in Britain was in 1835.
ReplyDeleteOr if you prefer to be more morally equivalent: "The last state killing of gay people for being gay in Britain was only 180 years ago, which is practically yesterday."
Are you seriously suggesting the British state is on about a par with ISIS with how it treats people under its rule? A lot worse, perhaps? Or maybe just a bit worse?
You aren't making any sort of germane point here, you're just trivialising what is happening to people under ISIS rule. Grow up.
So no gay men were killed in our wars with Iraq, Afghanistan, Serbia etc etc...
