Brighton Queer Pride: Events

There are now lots of alternatives to the mainstream Pride events happening this summer in Brighton.

The community has organised itself around its own needs – aiming to create queer, trans-friendly, people of colour friendly, free, wheelchair accessable, political and safe events for LGBTQIA+ people and their allies in Brighton.

Why this site was created: read more here.

For everyone feeling the need for an alternative Pride…

HAPPY QUEER PRIDE COMRADES!

TRANS PRIDE 25-27 JULY.

FEMROCK PRIDE AT THE GREEN DOOR STORE - 1 AUG
The Green Door Store where we’ll be raising money for All Sorts – an LGBTQ youth project in Brighton. FemRock is a queer feminist not-for-profit night and we’ll have lots of amazing female- fronted and queer performers – and vegan cake of course. £3 entry before 8pm.

QUEER PRIDE AT THE COWLEY CLUB 2 AUG
Educational, sober, LGBTQIA+, wheelchair access, politics, family, history, cake at the Cowley Club. Daytime.

PRIDE ALTERNATIVE AT QUEEN'S PARK 2 AUG
Queer hangout after the parade.

QUEER PROM
Non-profit evening of fun on 2 Aug. Not free.

Looking forward to Queen's Park - let's hope it's not just the usual claque of snotty middle-class post-student gayers.
