I was thinking about 'Clapham Junction' again only recently. I was so depressed by it when I first saw that it sort of pissed me off a bit, but I knew how truthful and powerful it was. I was thinking about it in light of all the unrealistic shit that gets made about gay people now - the positive sort of white-washed stuff and I realised just how good and brave it was. I came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn't be made now.
