What gay spaces will look like in 20, 30 or 40 years time is anyone's guess, but chances are, they'll still be there.
Thankfully not quite as patronising as that headline might suggest (even if the article suggests gay men appeared - as if by magic - in the 17th century).
But must (presumably) straight people describe and define gay men's lives?

It seems very patronising to me. Why would gay marriage threaten gay bars more than cheap alcohol in supermarkets that is closing so many traditional pubs? Chalk another one up to silly posh person writes article on subject she knows nothing about.
