    For what is worth, in my experience younger people (straight and queer) are less supportive of gay "rights" than the older generation, which in my opinion is a good thing.

    This is why Labour MPs should stop boring us with what people are supposedly telling them on the doorstep all the time.

    People hear what they want to hear. I'm sure there are lots of studies that back that up, although probably fewer than scientific polls that repeatedly show the younger you are the more likely you are to support gay rights.
