Unbelievably cynical and shameless PR campaign, launched off the back of a brief computer-generated misunderstanding about the word "faggots" on Facebook.
Thus far only some online fugwits on The Telegraph and The Times have obediently reprinted their press release.

Daily Mail: I Still Like Faggots

In a swiftly updated version of this non-story, the Daily Mail have said the account was closed in error.
It was a cock-up.
Which isn't quite as much exciting as their ever-so slightly more hysterical first take when the Mail blamed it on the "FACEBOOK PC BRIGADE!!!*

PS Pink News just repeat The Sun's take on this, unquestioned and unchallenged and unchecked.
