David Coburn MEP: This Charming (Gay) Man

GAY Ukip MEP David Coburn has blasted same-sex marriage supporters as “equality Nazis”.

The outspoken politician described the reforms as “false bollocks” that only “some queen who wants to dress up in a bridal frock and dance up the aisle to the Village People” would be interested in.

Coburn said: “What you’re doing with the gay marriage issue is you’re rubbing people’s noses in the dirt.

“Everyone had agreed and been quite happy with the idea of civil partnership, it was all bedded in and people were happy with it, they got used to the idea.

“But when you go across the road to pick a fight with someone of faith, that’s not got anything to do with it, that’s the equality Nazis trying to give Christianity a jolly good kicking.

“You know it, I know it, we all know it — it’s false bollocks, the lot of it.”

The Ukip member also claimed gay rights charity group Stonewall will have a moan about anything.

He said: “They are professional bombs that are primed to go off.

“They are people looking for something to be upset about.”

Coburn, who represents Scotland in the European Parliament denied calling Tory leader Ruth Davidson a “fat lesbian” but did mock the party.

He said: “She could have been a ten pound gorilla or a rhinoceros, and they would still have clapped her.”

“She’s the only thing they’ve got.”

"Ukip are leading a peasants' revolt," David Donegan says. "They will ransack the village, but will probably be stopped at the city gates. Hopefully that will shake up the Westminster establishment which needs a kick up the backside."

He believes the consensus over gay marriage has alienated many voters. "Civil partnership is absolutely fine," he says. "But gay marriage is appalling nonsense. The next thing they will saying is we should be marrying pigs."

Oh, and Ukips newly-elected MEP for Edinburgh, David Coburn, who is a big ole gayer, has told their Evening News.

"Civil partnership should be enough. Gay marriage breeds homophobia and takes back gay liberation – people are happy enough to tolerate what gay people do and their relationships but I don’t think they are happy to have their noses rubbed in it over marriage.”

PPS Pink News continue their obsession with Ukip. Might be an idea of the PN team declared if they have affilations with other political parties.

And finally Roger Helmer blogs that the Mail On Sunday made up quotes that he advocated 'gay cures' on the NHS.

As this is Ukip versus the Mail it's hard to know who to believe.

Gay Marriage: Those Gay Celebs Opposed to Gay Marriage In Full

On Channel 4 News on Thursday, Sharon Jones of Cunts For Marriage made much play of how "plenty of lesbian and gay people" had signed her petition for inequality, discrimination and homophobic bigotry.
Jon Snow asked her how many, but she couldn't say - because she couldn't know and had probably just made it up.
There are probably a million or three lesbians and gay men in the UK, so it's not impossible that some have signed up to be denied their rights.
Jones also mentioned "those who have spoken publicly in support of this petition".
Which got me wondering about those gay celebrities and public figures who have come out and spoken out against gay marriage.
Here's that list in full.

1. Christopher Biggins.
2. Julie Bindel.
3. Brian Sewell.
4. David Coburn, cunt from UKIP.
5. Err, that's it.

Hardly a stellar list, is it?
And, as you can see, they are all bigots or barking or both. 
Well done.

PS The Independent's Diary has claimed Gilbert & George are opposed to gay marriage - but the quote they used to illustrate this doesn't really back this up.
Gilbert: "Who wants to be married in a church? Not us in a million years; we wouldn't go near one... For us it is very simple; our motto is 'Burn religion'."
Perhaps they are opposed full stop - but Gilbert is only saying here they don't want one.
