Dave Dull, who is openly gay, has hurt his leg.
Mr Dull, 37, hurt his leg while walking along a street in Cambridge.
It is not yet known if his leg injury has any connection to him being a gay.
Leading gay commentator Patrick Smugtwit has said; "Imagine if that happened to a straight leg!"
Sir Stephen Fry OBE has called for a boycott of walking down streets in Cambridge.
