Pretty thin gruel in today's papers, but here's Colm Tóibín on De Profundis, 'one of the greatest love letters ever written'.

A beautiful essay.

    Not only was The Marquis of Queensbury batshit crazy, so were half his family. Poor Bosie didn't stand a chance.

    I agree De Profundis is marvellous. Strangely too it contains one of the most measured and sensible pieces on Jesus I've read.
