Yes, but the fearless Labour Leadership have not even attempted to make the case against renewing Trident. The army is dependent on part timers; we won't have a single properly functioning aircraft carrier, but we will have a nuclear submarine continually at sea in case Hollande goes bananas and nukes us .... err terrorists detonate a nuclear bomb here and we can retaliate against ... err Argentina invades the Falklands again... err OK I give up. What is the point of the nuclear deterrent?
