Dr Dick Swaab (!) first rose to infamy 24 years ago with his claim that the hypothalamus in gay men's brains was a bit funny.
We have no idea what makes people gay - human understanding may never reach that point.
But projects like this are like the Swiftian folly of trying to extract sunbeams out of cucumbers.
Is it nature or nurture...
Or manure?
