JASON Lynn and his bouffant poodle Ricky pose with their Crufts trophy last night — after winning the prestigious Best In Show.

Ricky — who competed under his stage name Afterglow Maverick Sabre — beat six rivals to become top dog at Birmingham’s NEC.

But Jason, of Preston, Lancs, revealed Ricky was going into retirement. He said: “He gave a beautiful performance. I’m so proud of him.”
