The Sun: Phew!

FOOTIE stars Luke Shaw and Ashley Cole yesterday denied being gay — amid rumours an England player is about to come out.

Southampton ace Shaw, 18, who made his national debut against Denmark this week, tweeted: “It’s not me, chill out guys!”

And Chelsea defender Cole, 33, told his followers: “Come on people, sorry to disappoint u but I’m strictly #chicks only.”

The denials came as claims swept the net that a Three Lions hero who played in Wednesday’s friendly would become the Premier League’s first openly gay footballer.

As Andy Coulson finally quits as David Cameron's communications chief, Fagburn remembers another problem Mr Coulson had involving mobile phones back when he was the editor of The News Of The World.
When he was at The Sun arguably Coulson's biggest gay scalp was the outing of Stephen Gately in 1999.
Lest we forget, Mr Coulson's job used to be ruining lives for a living.
How very ironic that he went to work for this life-destroying Tory government.
