Ukraine: E-petition Sparks Massive Climbdown

The president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, has dramatically said he will stop an anti-gay law after hearing of an online petition
"This is the most humble day of my life," Yanukovych said from his mansion of gold earlier today, "I had no idea that this homophobic law was homophobic. Before nothing would budge me from this, but now I have learnt some people in the West clicked their mouse saying they think it is, I have changed my line."
John Loony, an academic and specialist in new media, told Fagburn; "This is remarkable. If only we had the internet in the 40s, we could have started an e-petition that stopped the Nazi genocide."
